An ode to the healing benefits of being surrounded by nature

It’s the sun, the sea and clouds rolling by on a windy day. It’s a whimsical field of wild flowers. It’s the treasures we find on all of our adventures. It’s tiny pink shells and the feeling of a calm nervous system. It’s curiosity, exploration and play.

Given the inspiration behind this piece, it felt right to add the final brushstrokes outside under the sun. The freedom that came from painting in a windy meadow provided the perfect finishing touches to this painting and I hope you love it as much as I do
