The treasures we find

Inspired by the treasures I find with my daughter at the beach. Inspired by her wide eyes full of wonder as she arranges them all on a towel. Inspired by her bedroom shelf full of all her treasures. Inspired by these moments that I would like to bottle up and make last forever.

I let my daughter join in on this painting and she had so much fun mark making and arranging shells to inspire us. Originally this painting was full of earthy tones, but we decided together that it needed some hot pink to express the pure joy of finding a new shell.
